Nebnoms are a closed species by me.
The muscles don't seem to follow the bones and just squish downward. The forearm bone dramatically backs away from the wrist on the third figure, compared to the two other figures...
None of the less, it gave me a better understanding of how plates work with their lil arms ;w; Thank you for your hard work!
it is nos supposed to serve as an exact replica of the bones ^^
but yes, the flesh of the arm is actually meant ot squish together

do they fold over each other or stretch out?
the platers are not seperated and therefor can not fold over each other ( there are a few armstyles that have seperate plates that can fold, but most of them are flexible to stretch
